Just a little game review for the sega master system

Games old and new

Now myself i am a Xbox fan to the bone. I'm going to do a review of old Xbox games all the way up to the new games. Since i don't want to be one sided and just talk about Xbox i will also include a few of the old gaming platforms and and also some of the competition to make it fair.

OK ill start off with a little about myself. I grew up in a country town so being able to walk down to the local shops and buy a platform or a new one at that was a little difficult so i had to beg my parents for one at Christmas. That day came and i was so happy that when i opened the box it was a Sega master system. You no the ones with either sonic the hedgehog or Alex the kid built into it so you don't need to put a game into it to start off with. Well That was the first one i had got and i think i was about 8 when my parents got it for me.

Now since always wanting one and always playing my friends consoles i played it all the time. When i woke up in the morning before going to school i would rush around get ready and then sit there and play before i went to school. Then when i got home i would either be out playing with friends or at home on the Sega. It didn't take me long until i had finished it or as we normally say "clocked it". I got my parents to take me into cashies and i paid for a few more games that would keep me entertained. One of my favourites out of that was Golden Axe. I played that nonstop until i had clocked it. I think it was one of my friends that then got me onto the Super Nintendo with Mario Kart. It had me hooked. I used to borrow it every second weekend and stay at home and play it all day long or i would be at my friends and we would all sit around and play it. After we got bored of that game we would play Mortal Kombat or Killer Instinct. The Super Nintendo had all of us hooked for ages until the Nintendo 64 came out. That was a tough one because Nintendo 64 and PlayStation were the two competitions between all of us. We would argue till we were blue in the face on which one was better. Banjo kazzoie was a big part on the 64 for me but when the ps2 came out i just had to have one. The graphics and the amount of exciting games had me hooked yet again.

I could sit here and rattle off all the games that i played but it would be a endless blog if i did. so I'm going to go though a few that i remember as top games and rate them. talk about ones that i didn't play and new ones that are to come.
Comment at the bottom of this if there are ones that i had forgotten as well that way they all get a mention and gain some credit as well. I'm only giving my opinion and what i remember so please don't get annoyed or offended if i think a game is boring if you liked it. if you think it should get more of a star then post a comment and recommend it.

Sonic the hedgehog on Sega Master System:
This game has good graphics and colours for the time frame when it was brought out. It had a good story board and it also had good music for it as well. overall a good game for the Sega so i would give it at least 4 outta 5 stars.

Alex the kid in miracle world:
Alex the kid was another big game. i think that the main start song is one of the most catchiest songs and with that nearly everyone knows it. The graphics were good. it ran smooth and there was allot of game play for the game. some of the songs through out the game was a little annoying but. i would give it 3 and a half stars.

Alien 3:
I borrowed this game off a friend and played it for a few months. i wasn't to over happy with it. it kept me entertained for a little while but i found myself going back to one of the more fun games to play. Graphics were good  game play good but dragged a little i thought. it would give it 3 stars.

Castle of Illusion staring Mickey Mouse:
This game kept me entertained for hours. it was fun and not hard at all. the game play is cool cos your playing as mickey mouse. the graphics are good and overall it was a good game. i would give it 4 and a half stars.

Double dragon:
Now this game had my friends and i playing for hours and hours. Its a good two player game and was hard. It got the blood pumping when you couldn't pass a level and had you repeating it again and again until it was passed. Many creamy soda and packets of chips were polished off while this game was played. I will give this one 5 stars.

Golden Axe:
This is one game that i played non stop. Even after i had clocked it many times over. It was fun and annoying at times but still kept you playing. Graphics good game play good. Not to hard and i will give it 4 stars.

lemmings:
3 stars.

Ninja Gaiden:
I had totally forgotten about this game. But now that i think about it it had me quite entertained. It was hard as you went along but fun at the same time. Graphics good game play fun and frustrating at times. 4 stars.

Shinobi:
This game was a little like ninja gaiden so ill rate it 3 stars.

The Simpson's Bart vs the World:
Now this was a cool game. had me playing it for like ever. was hard at times and easy at others. good game. id give it  4 stars.

OK i no there are allot more games for Sega so if you would like to post then your more then welcome to.
